I love this manga, it is well drawn, well written and well translated. I've waited so long between the mangas that I had to go back and read the first four when this one came out. I would recommend the same to everyone. While the plot isn't horribly complex, I got a little confused as to who was on who's side (obviously a hard feat with gods and goddesses) and where Soah fit into everything.To sum up with out giving anything away, the villagers sacrifice another bride to Habaek. Mui looks at Soah, happy and doesn't want to save the new girl. Soah's humanity won't just let her stand by when Mui can help. Unfortunately the new bride is mute and looks just like Nakbin. That's Habaek and Mui's old love. Is the woman really Nakbin? Soah seems to think so and in tears goes off with Huye, so she won't have to stand by and watch Mui coddle the new bride.Like I said before beautiful artwork, a lot of shadow characters in the back round, and I feel for Soah who really respects Habaek and loves Mui. I'm hoping the next volume will have some things resolved, or at least find out how the girl who looks like Nakbin (perhaps she is) came to be a sacrifice to Habaek When she's supposed to be dead.

This is a fantastically drawn manga. The illustrators have done an amazing job, and the color pages in the front makes me wish I had a full scale version to hang in my library.This is the fourth installment, the fifth one will be out hopefully sometime in January, so if you haven't already read the first three... go no further!Soah is back home and has accepted her friend's wedding proposal, Habaek says he doesn't care, but he can't stop from visiting Soah again and again trying to see if she remembers anything. Meanwhile I can't really say what is up with the other gods and goddesses (except for Habaek's mother who is just bat crazy). Do you trust them? Do you trust their word? And I have yet to figure out what is Huye's deal. He's supposed to be Habaeks..... I'm not sure body guard/ advisor thing and is is giving Soah combs? (which by the way is a symbol of marriage... not the asking just the symbol) I mean wow I feel so sorry for Soah, she is a lone human/mortal in the games of gods/goddesses.At the end though we find out something that could kill/heal Habaek. There was a montage in the middle and I wasn't sure if Nakbin was a good guy or a bad guy, but whatever she was, she was Habaek's love. So how does Soah feel about this? She's confused, angry and I don't blame her. This manga is definitely worth the ten dollars because of the artwork (the story is just a plus plus) I really hate that I have to wait so many months for the next one.

When I first started to read these novels I started with vol 1 and I have read them all now except for the ones I couldn't get. They are just great can't wait until i can get the others. Denis

I am more a fan of great art than of Manga but this series combines both. The overall story is a fairy tale that bears similarities to the classic Greek myth of "Cupid & Psyche" (one of my all time favorites). In this 4th volume, our story gets more complicated with our heroine making a lifechanging choice and one that affects the fate of her true love -- and I don't want to say more and spoil it. From the first book to this one the level of the artwork has remained consistently high. I find it beautiful to look at and on a par with other great illustrators. In my opinion, it's Manga as Fine Art. It's the one Manga series I collect.

Love this journal!! The only thing I would change is that it would be great if it were spiral bound. Just took mine in and did just that!

This journal was exactly what I was looking for. Simplistic, without a lot of extraneous fluff that ends up distracting my mind, with plenty of room for my thoughts to flow freely. I appreciate the minimal daily direction, guiding my thoughts to meditate on what the chosen passage illustrates about God, then on my own thankfulness. I also like that it isn't a heavily directed study, leaving me free to go wherever I am currently studying. I also love the black and white format with the little bird--it gives me just a hint of coloring to "play" with daily. I LOVE this journal!

I love 💜💚❤️ this prayer journal! It has little prompts that help you focus your thoughts. When you truly quiet your heart, you can really hear God's voice clearer. It's amazing how adding little pops of color to the images stimulate your creativity.

We homeschool. I just bought copies of the 6 month journal for each of my kids and one for myself. My 9 year old asked if she could spend an hour each morning with Jesus because she loves hers so much. ♡♡♡

Love this study journal! Helps me focus on Who God is, what I'm thankful for and truths that God's Word teaches! Love that it is not someone else's words but instead just helps me journal God's Words. Bought 4 and will be buying more!

This is what I use every morning (almost) and I like it. It is very simple but warm and inviting you to fill up the pages. You would never know it but the author has some disorder that makes her hands shake as she draws but she still creates beautiful masterpieces! I couldn't draw half as good as she does! Some days I find that I need the entire page and other days I don't record as much so in attempt to "save space" I may take a day or two (or three or five) to fill in one page.*As a side note, on her website, The Time-Warp Wife, she has many free studies for readers to enjoy and participate in together to fill up these pages!

It works, and I've loved it. However it's the same page 200 times. I could have printed this out on the computer for free.I don't understand why she made the boxes so small and the lines so big. There is no guide for which Bible verse or chapter to read. I had to add a 1. memory verse or key verse and 2. prayer section. And the 3 things I'm thankful for box I usually change to theme or focus. It would be good for a child or someone who has never had a quiet time.

I have loved using this journal this summer and look forward to continuing. I have been doing a Bible study online of "She Reads Truth" and this has been a way for me to write down and organize my thoughts and be more intentional as I study God's Word. As a "list maker" I get some satisfaction out of writing down what I read each day. And the "God is..." sections reminds me to focus on the attributes of God as I read. The "three things I'm thankful for" help to remind me to be grateful, which breeds joy. And the bottom section of "what I learned today" is great for writing out bullet points, journaling or even listing some special prayer requests for that day. I like that there is structure to it, but plenty of space left for unstructured notes. Ultimately I would love to journal pages and pages each day, but I simply never do that consistently and I'm in a season of life that I just don't have to to do that on top of reading my Bible and doing my studies. So this is a good book for me to feel like I have accomplished some journaling and to help organize my thoughts during my quiet time. Highly recommend if that is what you are looking for!

This is one of the only books on the market that doesn't just tell the stepparent to shut up and take it (meaning you always come second to the kid and you can't/shouldn't have input on how they are raised in your shared home). It affirms the strong and necessary bond of the stepcouple to provide a happy and healthy home for kids from both families. It's realistic and it's expectations for how long it will take a stepfamily to feel like a "family." It doesn't gloss over the difficulties but offers some handy tools for overcoming them.

I've picked my copy up and started reading this book many times and struggle to get through it. It's been all stories of what's happened to other couples with little to no resolution or actual advice on how to avoid those situations. I guess if you want to feel better that you aren't the only couple going through certain situations then this book is for you, but it's seriously lacking any actual help and advice. The stories all have a similar theme or issue and it's getting boring reading through the same thing over and over. I thought maybe the first couple of chapters would be all these stories and then the help and guide for going forward would start but I'm over half way in and that's still all it is. I am very disappointed in the content of this book and wouldn't recommend it.

I love this book. I mostly gathered that the theme is to bring you back to the reason you decided to become a family. How to argue appropriately and to realize that you may not be fighting about what you (or your kids) think you're fighting about. It gives a good perspective and allows a different thought process in the household merger and how to overcome those obstacles.

I like this book a lot. It’s very positive and we all know as step parenting goes we need positivity! I think that one perspective is never going to be like your own so you really just do the best you can and figure out what you can and cannot handle. Talk to your partner and try to shape your little family into the happiness that fits you. But this book helps as much as it can! I would recommend it!

This book is filled with helpful thoughts and ideas for anyone going through the step parenting process. As a therapist I found the anecdotal sections to be spot on, echoing the kinds of issues that my clients are struggling with. I am asking these couples to buy this book and have begun going chapter by chapter with them so that together we can find solutions to the problems they are facing.

This is an excellent book for any woman dating a man who has a child, or children, from a prior relationship. It is straightforward, and deals with the issues and struggles that come with dating a man with kids, instead of trying to be a "hip" book about being a step mom, like some of the books about being a step parent seem to be doing.

I don’t have kids, but I have 2 step kids, who live mostly with their mother. This book focuses mainly on blended families, 2 sets of step kids living with each other. Because of this, many of the stories and advice didn’t relate to my situation, but I still got some helpful information. Also, who’s to say the situation won’t change where we have the kids more often? It’s a quick and easy read; I read it in an afternoon. Giving it to my husband to read next.

I haven't finished reading the book (yet) but that's because we decided to read and discuss the topics together. So far we have been able to cover sensitive ground in a neutral way- because of the way the authors approach different pitfalls. I'm really glad that we found this resource for our family!
